Mark Duffield-Thomas, founder of Quantum, is Commercial Director of the Newcastle Jets Football Club, one of the leading teams in Australia’s Hyundai A-League competition. With football, rugby league and corporate experience across sponsorship, sales, brand management and marketing, Mark is one of Australia’s leading sports administrators.

Previous positions include Head of Sponsorship for the Hunter Sports Group, overseeing a multi-million dollar sponsorship portfolio for the Newcastle Knights of the National Rugby League and the Newcastle Jets and Sponsorship Sales Operations Manager at Manchester United Football Club. Mark led sponsorship strategy, sales management and research for Manchester United where he gained unique experience in valuing, structuring and selling the world’s largest and most high profile sponsorship properties.

Before joining Man Utd, Mark held several marketing and sales positions at the global pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline.

Mark holds a first class honours degree in Management from the University of Manchester, a Graduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and is a qualified football coach. Mark is an alumnus of the global student organisation, AIESEC, where he served as National President.
